Jason Pure

Jason Pure brings soul and honesty to his musical storytelling, melding influences from various genres including R&B, pop, folk and alt rock. Born in Columbia, SC to a jazz vocalist mother and an amateur DJ father, music was a constant presence in his childhood. After graduating high school and relocating to Atlanta, GA in 2004, Jason seized the opportunity to pursue a career in music.

Since then, he has performed at such respected Atlanta venues as The Apache Cafe, Vinyl, Smith’s Olde Bar, Kat’s Café and 800 East. Jason was also one of the featured performers at the 2014 Ice Cream Festival in the city’s popular Piedmont Park. He has made radio appearances on 89.3 WRFG and Deb Antney’s Be100 Radio. In 2013, he ventured into the theater world, appearing in “The Motown Sound”, a captivating musical revue held annually at The Earl Smith Strand Theatre.

After releasing two projects independently, Jason is presently focusing his efforts on his upcoming third LP, with the aim of showing musical and personal growth while relating to audiences on an even more meaningful level. Using music as the universal language, Jason looks forward to speaking to the hearts of people the world-over.
